Annes is the county town of County Clare in Ireland, located northwest of Limerick and south of Galway, approximately 19 kilometers from Shannon Airport. It is also the 11th largest urban center in Ireland and one of the friendliest towns in the country.

Annes is a picturesque historic market town in Ireland, known for its traditional Irish music and numerous festivals held throughout the year. The current Market Square features many street market stalls and remains an important commercial hub. The town center of Annes consists of many narrow medieval streets and lanes lined with simple, elegant historic buildings. St. Columba's Cathedral, built between 1828 and 1842, is located on the edge of the old town center. The area also boasts a variety of sports and recreational facilities, including the Ennis Leisure Centre and Fairgreen.
