The Gate of the Milà Estate
Introduction Built by Gaudí in 1901. The designer of the estate was Gaudí’s assistant, Sugranyes. Today, the entire mansion has been completely replaced by modern residential buildings, leaving only a gate standing in the middle of the street. Its shape is hard to associate with the concept of a “gate,” featuring extremely irregular lines that, when viewed from the front, resemble the silhouette of a camel’s hump.
