Museum of Catalan History
Introduction: The Museum of Catalan History is located in the Palau del Mar, facing Barcelona's Old Port. The second and third floors house permanent exhibitions that use artifacts and models to illustrate the influence of ancient Greece and Rome on Spain from the BC era, as well as the history since the Spanish Civil War. There are also exhibits covering various aspects of local geography, economy, and daily life.
Note: All museum explanations are in Catalan. It is recommended to pick up an English guide upon entry. Dining / Accommodation / Shopping: Dining: The museum has a café on the fourth floor with views of the port and the old town. Transport: Metro: Barcelonaeta Station on Line 4. Tickets / Opening Hours: Ticket: €3.
Opening Hours: 10:00–19:00, 10:00–20:00 every Wednesday, 10:00–14:00 on Sundays and public holidays, closed on Mondays.
