Casa Vicens
Introduction Casa Vicens is an early work by Gaudí, built between 1883 and 1888. This villa is full of Islamic architectural style, featuring slender, straight lines and using clay bricks and floral tiles to create varied geometric patterns. The palm leaf-shaped iron railings complement the palm trees in the courtyard, leaving a lasting impression. It is said that the continuously rising construction budget nearly drove the sponsor to the brink of bankruptcy.
In 1984, Casa Vicens was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Transportation Address: Calle de les Carolines
