Santa Monica Rambla
Introduction Santa Monica Street is the final stretch of La Rambla leading to the port. It is named after the Santa Monica Art Gallery. Originally a convent built in the 17th century, the gallery is the only building on La Rambla that retains its original appearance from 300 years ago.
Along this section, you can also find historic buildings such as the Barcelona Art Center, the Ministry of Culture of Catalonia (Palau Marc), the Wax Museum, and the Cannon Foundry. At the very end of the street stands the grand Columbus Monument. Transport Metro: Drassanes Station on Line 3.
