Santa Mònica Arts Centre
The Santa Mònica Arts Centre is a public contemporary art museum located in Barcelona, Spain. Opened in 1988, it has no permanent collection and is renowned for hosting a rich variety of international art exhibitions each year, making it one of Barcelona’s most prominent contemporary art museums.
The Santa Mònica Arts Centre hosts touring and temporary exhibitions featuring works by both Spanish and international artists, aiming to help emerging domestic artists better absorb international artistic elements and create more valuable artworks. Each piece displayed at the Santa Mònica Arts Centre is highly creative, offering ample room for interpretation. Admission to the arts centre is free. It is open to the public from 11:00 to 21:00 on Tuesdays through Fridays, from 11:00 to 13:00 and 16:00 to 20:00 on Saturdays, and closed on Sundays, Mondays, and public holidays.
