Gothenburg Horticultural Society Park is located in the city center of Gothenburg, Sweden. It is a park and horticultural garden, and one of the best-preserved 19th-century parks in Sweden. The park was first established in 1842, initiated by a local amateur botanist and commissioned by King Carl XIV Johan of Sweden.

After more than a century of development, Gothenburg Horticultural Society Park has become the largest, oldest, most beautiful, and most popular public activity area in Gothenburg. Today, the park is renowned for its rose garden, which boasts 1,900 varieties and 4,000 rose plants. When the vibrant roses are in full bloom, the scenery is extraordinarily lively—with gorgeous blossoms and crowds of visitors. As a result, the famous French Michelin Guide has rated its rose garden as a three-star attraction.

In addition, Gothenburg Horticultural Society Park also features a palm house built in the 19th century, greenhouses, and sculptures. The greenhouse houses tropical and subtropical plants from other parts of the world, offering a rich variety of flora that also attracts many visitors.
