For both locals and tourists, motorboats are the best way to cruise through the city’s canals, offering views of English-style boats, numerous marinas, modest homes, and elegant mansions. British cultural influences and Victorian-style architecture are visible throughout Tigre, along with many Tudor-style half-timbered buildings that stand as historical landmarks. The Tigre Art Museum, a landmark of the city, was originally a private social club and was converted into a museum in 2006 to showcase artworks. It is a paradise for art enthusiasts.
