Zanjan
Introduction to the Attraction A city in northwestern Iran and the capital of Zanjan Province. Population: 176,000 (1982). It has factories producing carpets, matches, and other goods. Nearby valleys yield wheat, grapes, fruits, and there are small iron and copper mines.
