Tehran City Theater

Tehran City Theater is an arts and performance center located in the capital city of Iran, Tehran. Construction began in 1967, and it opened to the public in 1972. It is the largest theater in Iran and also the largest in the Middle East, and has been listed as part of Iran’s National Heritage.

The building of Tehran City Theater features a circular design and is supported by tall columns. It consists of several different performance spaces, such as the Main Hall, Chaharsou Hall, and Sayeh Hall. Here, a variety of art forms are presented to the public through this stage, not only providing a space for entertainment but also allowing citizens to experience both classical and contemporary culture, thereby enhancing their artistic appreciation.
