Kabul Mosque
Attraction Introduction
Built in 1640 by Emperor Shah Jahan to commemorate his victory in Balkh. The mosque features marble flooring and beautifully carved pendant arches. Recently renovated, it has become one of Kabul’s most attractive historical sites.
Features
On an upper level of the garden, within the deep shade of redbud and lilac trees, rests the founder of the Mughal Empire.
