Taiwan Ranked Among “World’s Most Dangerous Travel Destinations” Alongside Afghanistan and Iraq? An overseas website ranked the “TOP 20 DANGEROUS PLACES TO GO TO FOR A VACATION,” with Iraq, Afghanistan, and Pakistan taking the top three spots due to security issues such as war and bombings. Surprisingly, Taiwan also made it onto the “dangerous” list, coming in at 19th place for the most dangerous country.

Why Is Taiwan Considered the Most Dangerous Travel Destination? According to a report by the overseas website “All Women Stalk” on the “TOP 20 MOST DANGEROUS VACATION DESTINATIONS,” over 70% of Taiwan’s land area is prone to natural disasters such as earthquakes, typhoons, and landslides, which earned it the 19th spot. Additionally, Australia, a popular destination among Taiwanese travelers, ranked 18th due to its deadly wildlife such as venomous snakes and spiders, while New Zealand came in at 20th because of its abundance of extreme sports.

After the rankings were published, some netizens directly responded on the website, calling the rankings “biased.” Others suggested that the author should first travel to these countries in person before making such evaluations to ensure more fairness and objectivity.
