Kandooma Island is located approximately 35 kilometers from the capital’s Malé International Airport and can be reached in about 40 minutes by speedboat. It is one of the most renowned resort destinations in the Maldives. Covering an area of 13 hectares, the island gets its name from the abundance of Kandoo trees found across the island.
