Attraction Introduction

The Bahrain International Circuit was designed by German expert Hermann Tilke, took 16 months to build, and cost an estimated $150 million. At the peak of construction, more than 3,000 people were working on site simultaneously. The circuit construction used 70,000 cubic meters of concrete, 8,500 tons of steel, 82,000 tires, and 5,000 meters of FIA-manufactured barriers.

In terms of circuit design, the average lap time for F1 cars is expected to be 1 minute and 33 seconds, with an average speed of 210 km/h.

The venue can accommodate 45,000 spectators, with 10,000 seats in the main grandstand and 13,000 parking spaces.

The Bahrain Circuit consists of six track layouts, with a lap length of 5.417 km. The race consists of 57 laps, covering a total distance of 308.427 km. It has a maximum gradient of 3.6% uphill and 5.6% downhill, 15 corners (6 left and 9 right), and a long straight of 1,090 meters.

In other metrics: the Bahrain Circuit features a VIP viewing tower that is nine stories high, and the circuit’s spectator capacity is designed for 50,000 people, including non-permanent seating. This includes a 10,000-seat main grandstand and a media center that can accommodate 500 journalists, among other facilities.
