Khamis Mosque
Attraction Description
Located in the suburbs of Manama. Built in 692 AD during the era of Caliph Omar ibn Abd al-Aziz, it remains well-preserved to this day. In recent years, archaeologists have discovered remnants of pre-Islamic architecture and ancient tombs beneath this well-maintained mosque.
