Attraction Introduction

Ho Chi Minh’s Stilt House is located within the Presidential Palace, just a short distance from the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. The Presidential Palace is a French-style villa built by Germans, but Ho Chi Minh, who lived a very simple life, chose to live in a modest wooden stilt house next to the villa.

The upper floor of the house served as Ho Chi Minh’s office and bedroom, while the lower floor was used as a meeting room. During his lifetime, many meetings of the Politburo of the Communist Party of Vietnam were held here. To the west of the house is a corridor, and to the east are rooms including an office, a guest room, and a rest area. Inside, you can see the wooden desk and chair used by him, along with exhibits such as his old telephone, typewriter, and the Marxist-Leninist works he read. The entire stilt house, like its owner, is simple, elegant, refined, and dignified.
