Taikoo Li

Taikoo Li is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

Taikoo Li is located at the southwest corner of the intersection of Sanlitun Road and Sanlitun East Third Street in Chaoyang District, Beijing.

On April 26, 2013, Swire Properties announced that Beijing Sanlitun VILLAGE was officially renamed “Sanlitun Taikoo Li,” and launched a new logo at the same time. Sanlitun Taikoo Li opened in 2008 as the first commercial complex in China completed and launched by Swire Properties, which includes The Opposite House, the company’s first hotel in China located within the development.

Beijing Taikoo Li and Sanlitun are the same place. Sanlitun got its name because it is three li (approximately 1.5 km) from the inner city. Sanlitun Bar Street is one of the most “lively” entertainment streets in Beijing nightlife, frequented by expatriates living in Beijing and domestic celebrities. The open-air shopping district Sanlitun Taikoo Li on Sanlitun Road in Beijing has now become a landmark for fashionable and trendy urban life in the city.
