Qutub Minar and its Monuments in Delhi are located a few kilometers south of the city, built in the early 13th century and serving as one of Delhi’s iconic landmarks. This red sandstone minaret stands 72.5 meters tall, with a base diameter of 14.32 meters and a top diameter of 2.75 meters, tapering from the bottom up. The tower's façade features alternating angular and rounded fluting. Towering into the sky, Qutub Minar is an outstanding example of early Indo-Islamic architecture, and its exquisitely refined style attracts countless visitors from around the world every year.

Qutub Minar has five storeys, each with a projecting balcony, and its exterior is decorated with alternating bands of triangular and circular motifs. Inside the tower, there are numerous calligraphic inscriptions, and visitors can climb the spiral staircase to enjoy breathtaking panoramic views. Qutub Minar stands as a monument to the spread of Islamic culture across East and West, and the minaret also served as a place to announce prayer times to worshippers. The surrounding archaeological area includes several funerary structures: notably, the Alai Darwaza gate, a masterpiece of Indian Muslim art built in 1311, and two mosques—one of which is the Quwwat-ul-Islam Mosque, the oldest mosque in North India, constructed using materials from more than 20 demolished Hindu temples.
