Introduction

Pulau Ubin is Singapore’s third largest island. The island features small rubber plantations, beaches, fish farms, pristine forests, and lakes surrounded by rocky cliffs. At the northeastern tip of Pulau Ubin lies Chek Jawa, a natural marine biodiversity area home to many rare marine species such as horseshoe crabs, crabs, starfish, seahorses, and sea urchins. Additionally, there are seagrass meadows populated with carpet anemones and magnificent sea anemones, as well as colorful coral reefs.   Transportation

Getting There: Take the East-West Line (EW) MRT to Tanah Merah Station (Station No. EW4), then transfer to SBS Transit Bus 2 or 29 to Changi Village Bus Interchange. From there, take a ferry from Changi Point Ferry Terminal. The ferry ticket costs 2 SGD, and services run from 6:00 to 23:00.   Transportation on the Island: Bicycles for rent at 4 SGD per day.
