Introduction

Bukit Timah Nature Reserve is one of Singapore’s largest primary rainforests, home to a greater diversity of tree species than the entire North American continent. Visitors here can enjoy a colorful array of rare birds, monkeys leaping through the treetops, and unusual carnivorous plants. You can also take in panoramic views of Singapore from its highest point — Bukit Timah Hill, which stands at 162.5 meters above sea level — and enjoy a relaxing picnic. Tip: It takes about three hours to explore the reserve, and it is recommended to visit between 8:00 and 18:00 daily.
