Singapore Cenotaph
Introduction
The Singapore Cenotaph is located in the War Memorial Park on Beach Road, symbolizing the spirit of unity and survival among Singapore’s four major ethnic groups during World War II (from February 15, 1942, to September 12, 1945). It also commemorates the civilians who perished during the Japanese occupation of Singapore in the Second World War. A commemoration ceremony is held here every year on February 15 to honor those who lost their lives during the war. Transportation
