Located beside Singapore Zoo and Night Safari on Mandai Lake Road, the Gardens by the Bay Orchid Garden enjoys excellent transport links. The park showcases a wide variety of orchids, including Vanda Miss Joaquim—the national flower of Singapore—as well as numerous world-renowned potted plants, making it one of Singapore’s most famous horticultural tourist destinations.

The Gardens by the Bay Orchid Garden mainly consists of three sections: the Vintage Garden, the Water Garden, and the Tropical Fruit Orchard. The 2-hectare Vintage Garden features gently sloping terrain that provides an ideal growing environment for orchids. Bathed in warm sunlight, over 200 varieties of orchids bloom across the slopes, creating a stunning and colorful spectacle. The Water Garden is situated on a narrow swamp and was built in the 1950s. Its design follows the natural contours of the land, with lush greenery and the sounds of birds and flowers, serving as a prime example of harmony between humans and nature. The Tropical Fruit Orchard grows a rich array of tropical and subtropical fruit trees from around the world, including Japanese apples, durians, jackfruits, bananas, and lemons. The lush greenery makes it a paradise for birds.
