The Red Dot Design Museum Singapore is the only one of its kind outside Germany in the world. Located in the Red Dot Design Building on Maxwell Road, the site was formerly the headquarters of the Singapore Traffic Police. It officially opened in November 2005 and attracts over 30,000 visitors each year.

With an exhibition area of up to 1,400 square meters, the museum is a showcase of the Red Dot Design Award. It collects and displays some of the world’s best-winning designs, featuring Asia’s largest collection of modern art and design works. The Red Dot Design Museum Singapore houses design submissions from over 60 countries, presented in interactive ways that surprise and delight visitors. Additionally, if you're lucky, you might be able to visit Singapore’s only creative market on Friday evenings each month. This market, run entirely by artists and designers, includes solo exhibitions, live music, and creative workshops.

The museum’s souvenir shop also offers a wide range of products that have won the Red Dot Design Award, allowing you to take home these thoughtfully designed items for closer appreciation. The museum is open from 11:00 to 18:00 on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays, and from 11:00 to 20:00 on weekends.
