Universal Studios Singapore is located within Resorts World Sentosa on Sentosa Island in Singapore. It officially opened on May 28, 2011, covering an area of 49 acres. It is the second Universal Studios theme park in Asia and has attracted millions of visitors every year since its opening.

Universal Studios Singapore is divided into seven themed zones: Hollywood, New York, Sci-Fi City, Ancient Egypt, The Lost World, Far Far Away, and Madagascar. Hollywood is known for its dynamic architecture, palm trees, and the world-famous Hollywood Walk of Fame; New York recreates scenes from blockbuster movies, showcasing a postmodern skyline with intricate streets and neon lights; Sci-Fi City is a fictional futuristic world highlighting modern advanced lifestyles; Ancient Egypt depicts the glory of Egypt during its golden age in the 1930s; The Lost World is split into two sections—Jurassic Park and WaterWorld. Jurassic Park replicates scenes from the movie of the same name, while WaterWorld is a water-based amusement park featuring various aquatic rides.
