Sculpture Square has a long history. Established as a church in 1870, it was later used as a girls’ school, a Methodist church, a restaurant, and more. In 1999, it opened to the public as an art exhibition venue, becoming Singapore’s first sculpture gallery. The exterior of Sculpture Square is orange-hued and only one story high, offering an exhibition area of up to 16,000 square feet and accommodating around 150 visitors at a time. It mainly showcases three-dimensional artworks and is Singapore’s first art space entirely focused on displaying and promoting 3D art. In addition, it features sculptures by well-known Singaporean artists as well as works by internationally acclaimed sculptors.

In addition to 3D art exhibitions, Sculpture Square also hosts seminars and artist meet-and-greet events, making it a place that inspires artistic creativity.
