Abdul Gafoor Mosque is located on Dunlop Street in Singapore’s Little India. It is a mosque in Singapore, construction of which began in 1907. It is a religious building that should not be missed when visiting Little India and also a mosque with very distinctive architectural features.

Abdul Gafoor Mosque is an elegant yellow-and-green structure — a color rarely seen in mosques. Against the blue sky and white clouds, the yellow-green mosque stands quietly yet vibrantly, solemn yet not rigid, making it very appealing. The building itself also incorporates elements of South Indian and European styles, giving off a strong artistic vibe. The entrance to the main hall features an intricate pediment with a sundial on the wall, upon which 25 degree markings are inscribed in Arabic calligraphy. It is said that such a design is globally rare, adding to the mosque’s uniqueness. The main prayer hall rises prominently from the ground, with its entrance and sides surrounded by arcades, creating a highly atmospheric setting.

The genealogy chart of the Prophet on the left side of the prayer hall is also one of the must-see sights in the mosque. It records the lineage of the Arab prophets, combining artistic beauty with significant educational value.
