Istana Park is located in Singapore’s central business district. Established in 1995, it covers an area of 13,000 square meters and serves as the gateway to Singapore’s administrative and cultural district, aiming to offer visitors insight into the nation’s rich history.

The park features thoughtfully arranged landscapes, ingenious design, and scenic views at every step, densely planted with tropical greenery and vibrant flowers, with winding paths meandering through. The most eye-catching feature is a large reflection pool—the first of its kind in Singapore—which uses light and shadow on the water’s surface to create reflections that enhance the sense of space, enrich the depth of the scenery, and elevate the overall aesthetic. Standing in the center of the pool is a roughly 26-meter-tall Festival Arch, constructed from stainless steel and concrete. Its design draws inspiration from the gateposts and railings at the entrance of the Istana. It stands tall and imposing, exuding grandeur. The Festival Arch is especially stunning at night when illuminated, glowing a brilliant golden yellow and forming a beautiful tableau with its reflection in the pool.

On the first Sunday of every month, Istana Park hosts related music and cultural performances, open to all. Within the park, there is also a small eatery called Giraffe Restaurant, which serves delicious food.
