Highlights: Experience outdoor camping in pristine tropical rainforest. Introduction: Part of Khao Phra Thaeo National Park, this area preserves the last remaining intact tract of primary tropical rainforest on Phuket. The most unique local plant is a palm species called "Palm Lang Khao," distinguished by its white undersides. This rare type of palm has not been found anywhere else in the world to date. The area around the waterfall boasts pleasant scenery and a beautiful environment, teeming with various birds, wild boars, and monkeys, offering an authentic taste of nature. Additionally, Bang Pae Waterfall and the Phuket Gibbon Rehabilitation Center are also well-known attractions.

Tip: A knowledgeable guide is essential during the 8-kilometer park tour. With a guide, you can fully appreciate the unique charm of the rainforest and spot many tropical plants and animals that are rarely seen otherwise. Transportation: Located in northern Phuket, 20 kilometers from Thalang Town. It lies 22 kilometers north of the city center and can be reached within a few kilometers east of Wat Phra Thong in Patong. First take a shared pickup truck to Thalang, then transfer to a rented motorcycle to reach the waterfall area (10 baht). Walking from Thalang takes about 40 minutes (a 3-kilometer hike).
