Mosquito Island
Also known as Koh Young, Mosquito Island is an islet located in the northern part of Phi Phi Don. The island is home to many mosquitoes, so it's essential to apply insect repellent before visiting to avoid bites. The eastern side of the island features rocky shores, while a beautiful small beach lies in the valley. The water is crystal clear, allowing you to see fish, coral reefs, sea cucumbers, and other marine life at depths of around 4–5 meters. Mosquito Island boasts some of the most stunning coral rocks in Phi Phi, attracting thousands of visitors each year for snorkeling and leisure vacations. Moreover, the island is close to Bamboo Island, making it easy to combine visits to both for a double dose of tropical fun.
