Sarabong Park

Sarabong Park is located just over 2 kilometers east of Dongmun Rotary in Jeju City, Jeju Special Self-Governing Province, South Korea. Thanks to its prime location and convenient transportation, it is highly popular and beloved among locals. The park sits atop a small hill with an elevation of only 143 meters, and the view of the sunset here known as “Sarabong Sunset” is one of the “12 Scenic Views of Yeongju,” renowned for its breathtaking beauty.

Bordered by the sea to the north and Hallasan Mountain to the south, Sarabong Park is filled with birdsong, fragrant flowers, and lush trees. It also offers well-developed recreational facilities, earning high praise from visitors. On the path from the bus stop at the park’s entrance leading into the park, there stands the Mujong Shrine, and to the east of Sarabong lies Yanggongjang. These small cultural landmarks add lively charm to the park. In addition, the Yu-dang Library is built into the mountainside, and the coastal road that wraps around the back of Sarabong and stretches to Jeju Port and Tadong is a famous scenic drive.
