Feiyang Island

Feiyang Island is located to the northwest of Hanlim Port in Hanlim-myeon, Jeju City, Jeju Special Self-Governing Province, South Korea. It is a small volcanic island. Nearby, there are beautiful attractions such as Hanlim Park and Hajae Beach, and the surrounding waters are home to over 80 species of fish and seaweed, along with numerous seabirds nesting in the area — making it an exceptional spot for fishing.

Feiyang Island is a very tiny island, with Feiyang Peak rising in the center and occupying a large portion of the island’s area. Although Feiyang Peak is only 114 meters above sea level, visitors standing at the summit can still enjoy a clear view of the picturesque Hajae Beach and the cluster of small volcanic hills surrounding the base. At the foot of the peak lies the dock, and the surrounding area features rows of houses that make up the island’s only small fishing village. The Feiyang Island loop road was completed in the spring of 2001, making it convenient for tourists to drive or bike around the island. The roadside also includes a stone park decorated with unique rocks and boulders, adding more fun to your visit.
