Seoul Hangang Bridge
The first modern bridge over the Han River, it connects Hangang-ro in Yongsan District and Bun-dong in Dongjak District. With a width of 36.8 meters and a length of 1,005 meters, it was the first bridge to span the Han River islands.
It was previously called the Hangang Highway Bridge or First Hangang Bridge. On November 7, 1984, the bridge’s name was changed to Hangang Bridge to match the name of Hangang-ro.
