Wakayama Yacht Harbor is an island-type resort located on Wakayama Bay in Wakayama City, Japan, and is the most representative coastal amusement destination in the Kansai region. Surrounded by the sea and boasting a prime location with convenient transportation, it takes visitors approximately 40 minutes to reach by car or bus from Kansai International Airport.

Wakayama Yacht Harbor consists of five main areas: the Kuroshio Market, Europa Port, Fruit Village, hotels, and the Seaside Fishing Park. Each area features different facilities and functions to cater to the diverse interests of visitors. At the Kuroshio Market, guests can “taste” and “purchase” fresh fish and seafood from Japan, as well as enjoy thrilling tuna dissection shows. In Europa Port, a theme park that authentically recreates the streetscapes of France, Italy, and Spain, visitors can enjoy exciting rides with their children and experience romantic European charm. At Fruit Village, visitors can buy fresh local produce such as fruits and vegetables from Wakayama at low prices, and also try ice cream and Swiss rolls made with milk from Kurosawa Farm.

For those who prefer a quieter experience, the hot spring area offers a relaxing soak, or you can enjoy peaceful fishing at the Seaside Fishing Park. The hot springs at Wakayama Yacht Harbor are sourced from natural springs emerging from 1,500 meters below the seabed. Guests can unwind in open-air baths while feeling the gentle sea breeze on their skin and taking in the picturesque ocean views — an experience that’s truly unforgettable. The Seaside Fishing Park is also well-equipped and set in a serene environment, ensuring visitors have a fulfilling time.
