Wildlife Amusement and Sightseeing Park

The Datong Wildlife Amusement and Sightseeing Park is located within the Yungang National Forest Park at the southern exit, covering a total area of 4,800 acres. Constructed last year with an investment of 8.5 million yuan, the park has expanded this year with an additional 40 million yuan in funding for its second phase of development, including projects such as a water park, an ecological expo garden, and a premium Birdsong Lake.

The park integrates nature conservation, scientific research, animal domestication and breeding, and tourism. It is currently the largest wildlife amusement and sightseeing park in North China. The Tiger Park currently houses over twenty Siberian tigers and African lions. Visitors can observe the tigers hunting up close by taking a specially designed vehicle, or feed the tigers through a viewing corridor to witness their regal presence. The water park features a splash plaza and a central lake island, where visitors can swim, boat, and fish.
