Hitachi Seaside Park is located in Hitachinaka City, Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan. Rather than being just a park, it is more like a garden, as it is an ocean, world, and paradise of flowers in every season. Each season presents visitors with a vibrant landscape, allowing them to admire blooming flowers every day and enjoy the fragrance of flowers at all times.

Covering an area of 3.5 hectares, Hitachi Seaside Park has become one of Japan’s most renowned tourist destinations. In spring, visitors can enjoy daffodils and tulips; in summer, pink muhly grass, roses, and cosmos; and in autumn, kochia and blue salvia. This colorful garden is famous for its blue nemophila, an annual plant with stunningly transparent blue petals. Around 4.5 million blue nemophila flowers burst into bloom in spring, attracting numerous visitors. In addition to the blue nemophila, the park also features over one million daffodils beneath the pine trees and more than 170 varieties of tulips, making it a must-visit attraction in Japan.

Aside from flower viewing, Hitachi Seaside Park also offers visitors bicycles, sports fields, and barbecue areas, allowing them to fully enjoy life amidst the sea of flowers.
