Huis Ten Bosch
Introduction Huis Ten Bosch is located in Omura Bay, Sasebo City, Nagasaki Prefecture, covering an area of 152 hectares—more than twice the size of Tokyo Disneyland—and is the largest leisure resort theme park in Asia. The entire park is designed based on the palace of the Dutch Queen in The Hague, featuring a strong European ambiance.
Inside the castle, there is a grand Greek cross-shaped dome mural in the 19-meter-high central palace, themed around war and peace. It took four years to complete and presents a magnificent and spectacular scene. The Dream Garden in the backyard uses modern technology to create stunningly beautiful landscapes. Huis Ten Bosch features 13 entertainment facilities, 11 museums, and a vibrant nightlife. First-time visitors often find it overwhelming to choose where to go among the many options.
The park also has a golf course, a large shopping mall, high-end hotels, and forest villas, forming a self-contained destination. Visitor access to the park is managed via a passport system, and various facilities are categorized by different star ratings. Visitors can purchase star-rated tickets or free passport tickets based on their needs.
