The Hiroshima City Transportation Science Museum was established in March 1995 and is located in Asaminami Ward, Hiroshima City, Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan. It is the only science museum in the Shikoku region of Japan that focuses on sea, land, and air transportation vehicles, and is also one of Hiroshima's most famous museums, receiving a large number of domestic and international visitors every day.

The Hiroshima City Transportation Science Museum has four floors. On the third and fourth floors, there is a large atrium space featuring a 20-meter-diameter “Transportation City,” touted as Japan’s largest hands-on transportation simulation. Visitors can operate a wide variety of transportation vehicles by using control levers or buttons. The second-floor exhibition hall displays approximately 2,000 transportation vehicle models, showcasing the evolution of transportation from the past to the present. The first floor houses a library where visitors can read or watch videos related to transportation, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the history of transportation development and its close relationship with humanity. In addition, the Transportation Science Museum frequently hosts hands-on workshops, movie screenings, science exhibitions, and other activities on weekends and holidays, allowing you to enjoy fun experiences while learning about transportation-related knowledge.
