Mazda Museum

The Mazda Museum is located in Ujina, Minami Ward, Hiroshima City, Japan, adjacent to the renowned Mazda Ujina No. 1 Plant. It is an automobile museum that collects and exhibits famous commercial vehicles, concept cars, engine technologies, and more from the history of Mazda Motor Corporation. It opened in May 1994 and was expanded in 2005 to increase its exhibition space and update its displays, allowing visitors to gain a comprehensive understanding of Mazda’s automotive production—its past, present, and future.

The Mazda Museum is divided into six zones and showcases authentic vehicles including the nostalgic "Mazda-go" three-wheeler, the 787B that won the 1991 24 Hours of Le Mans, as well as the latest concept cars. Many of the models are rotated regularly. In addition, the museum houses collections of historic rotary engines, related parts, clay models, and the car assembly process. Guided tours led by staff members are also available, offering visitors a chance to observe part of the actual vehicle assembly line.

The museum entrance features a shop selling Mazda-related merchandise. Naturally, souvenirs related to the Hiroshima Toyo Carp (professional baseball team) and Sanfrecce Hiroshima (professional soccer team) are also available here.
