Hiroshima City Children's Culture and Science Museum is located in Kita-machi, Naka Ward, Hiroshima City. Visitors can reach it by taking a tram from Hiroshima Station to the “Atomic Bomb Dome/Museum” stop and walking about 300 meters. It opened in 1980 within the Hiroshima City Children's Library (Hiroshima City Children's Library) and is a museum designed specifically for children. It is also the most well-known children’s museum in Hiroshima Prefecture, highly popular among both parents and children.

The Hiroshima City Children's Culture and Science Museum mainly consists of five sections: the Exploration Hall, Dreamland of the Sky, Dr. Scitech's Happy Laboratory, the Science of Astronomy (Planetarium), and the Theater of Apollo. Each section features different facilities and purposes, aiming to provide children with more opportunities for hands-on experiences such as seeing, touching, trying, making, and verifying, thereby fostering their interest in science and culture.
