Dreamworld
Dreamworld is located on the Gold Coast of Queensland, Australia. Opened in 1981 and covering an area of 210 acres, it is currently the largest theme park in Australia. Filled with beautiful and magical elements, it is a theme park perfect for family holidays.
Dreamworld is made up of several themed areas, including Ocean Parade, Kids World, Wiggles World, Gold Rush Country, The Creek and Tiger Island, each offering its own unique highlights. The park features a wide variety of rides for both adults and children, such as the world’s largest roller coaster, carousels, the Serpentine Slides, thrilling roller coasters, and fun Wave Swinger rides. In addition, there are elaborately designed live performances, computer-controlled koala puppet shows, as well as an IMAX theater and cinemas. The Giant Drop and the Tower of Terror are among the park’s most thrilling attractions. The Giant Drop claims to be the fastest and highest free-fall ride in the world, reaching speeds of up to 135 km/h at its descent from the highest point. The Tower of Terror is equally astonishing—it’s an upside-down rocket ride that soars high into the sky before hurtling back to the launch point at breakneck speed.
Aside from these exciting and thrilling activities, Dreamworld also offers calm and fun experiences where families can enjoy seeing Australia’s unique animals, such as koalas, and watch lively kangaroos.
