Hong Kong Space Park (English: Hong Kong Space Museum Astropark) is an astronomy-themed park in Hong Kong, located at the Tsang Hing Water Sports Centre on the West Dam of High Island Reservoir in Sai Kung District, New Territories. Covering an area of approximately 1,200 square metres, it is managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department. The park was built at a cost of HK$3 million and officially opened on 30 January 2010.

Hong Kong Space Park is divided into three themed zones: the Astronomical Study Area, the Naked-eye Observation Area, and the Telescope Observation Area. The park is open 24 hours a day and is the only park in Hong Kong with such all-day accessibility.

Astronomical Study Area: Displays replicas of eight ancient Chinese astronomical instruments (the armillary sphere, star dial, moon dial, sundial, gnomon, equatorial sundial, horizontal sundial, and square table), as well as a human sundial that allows visitors to tell the time based on their shadow alignment with ground markings. There is also a pavilion in the park where visitors can enjoy a simulated artificial starry sky or take shelter from rain during cloudy weather.

Naked-eye Observation Area: Equipped with several reclining star-gazing chairs for visitors to comfortably lie back and observe the night sky.

Telescope Observation Area: Features four rotatable 20×80 binoculars for night-time celestial viewing, ten telescope mounts for visitors who bring their own telescopes and equatorial mounts (with access to AC power upon application), and two simple manual equatorial mounts for visitors with cameras to attach for tracking and shooting starry landscapes.

How to Get There: Take KMB bus 94 (Sai Kung to Wong Shek Pier), 96R (holiday service from Diamond Hill MTR Station to Wong Shek Pier), or Citybus 698R (holiday service from Siu Sai Wan, Lam Wan Peninsula to Wong Shek Pier), or green minibus 7 (Sai Kung to Hoi Ha) or 9 (Sai Kung to Lady MacLehose Holiday Village), and get off at Pak Tam Chung in Sai Kung. Then take a taxi for about 15 minutes to reach the Space Park. (As the location is remote, you may need to book a taxi in advance at Pak Tam Chung.)
