Introduction Perhaps the most well-known product of Korla is the fragrant pear. The local soil and water conditions are highly suitable for pear cultivation, yielding small, tender, sweet, and juicy pears. When transplanted elsewhere, the flavor of these pears just doesn’t match those grown in Korla, while other types of pears grown in Korla surpass their original varieties in taste.
