Jin Mao (played by Xiao Hudu), an octogenarian whose wife has passed away, lives alone in an old house in the suburban area of Pingxi. Though his health has significantly declined, Taipei remains a place he has never truly been able to integrate into. One day, Jin Mao is hospitalized again due to stomach pain, and his daughter Yuzhen (played by Huang Jiaqian) gets into yet another heated argument with his son Yizheng (played by Xi Xiang) over the topic of a nursing home. However, an accident leads Jin Mao to end up in a care facility. Even when his grandson Kaikai (played by Cao Yanhao) brings the happy news of his upcoming wedding, it does little to lift Jin Mao’s low spirits.

Takahashi Hideki (played by Satoshi Tsumabuki), who works at a Tokyo food company, and his wife Kana (played by Eriko Hatsune), happily raise their 2-year-old daughter Chisa together. Hideki is immersed in the joy of being a “stay-at-home dad,” often sharing moments of parenting on social media. On the surface, they seem to be a happy and harmonious little family, but their forgotten, bizarre past quietly comes back to haunt them.

Kursk: The Deepest Dive
 
The story is based on the deadliest submarine disaster in history — the tragic sinking of the Russian submarine “K-141 Kursk”. During a military exercise, a torpedo onboard the Kursk exploded, causing massive casualties inside the submarine. Of the 118 crew members, only 23 survived the blast, and the vessel sank to a depth of 108 meters (approx. 354 feet) in the Barents Sea. Families onshore desperately fought against bureaucracy, while the sailors relied on their remaining food and oxygen, waiting for rescue.

Laurel and Hardy: The Comedy Legends
 
The iconic comedy duo “Laurel and Hardy” — one tall and lean, the other short and stout — were once the most beloved double act in the world. But as time went on, the popularity of this “comedy legends” duo gradually declined, fading from the public eye. Faced with this situation, they decided to go on a tour in an attempt to revive their fame. Although they initially attracted only a small audience, their excellent chemistry, humorous skits, and versatile comedic skills gradually won back a large fan base, even reaching the point where tickets were in high demand. However, at this moment, Hardy (played by John C. Reilly) begins to show signs of health issues, and long-buried conflicts between him and his partner Laurel (played by Steve Coogan) also start to resurface. Under strict warnings from doctors, Hardy decides to stop performing. But how can two performers who love the stage and cherish their friendship let go of the platform they cherish the most…?
