Cliff Carvings on the Tukezisalai Tagh

The cliff carvings on the Tukezisalai Tagh are located on the western side of the Tukezisalai Tagh Mountain, 300 meters west of Tukezisalai Village. Time period: Northern Wei Dynasty.

There are two sites here featuring five Buddha statues in total. One of the sites is relatively well-preserved, consisting of one large and one small statue, with remnants of a halo. The larger statue is 40 cm tall and 27 cm wide, while the smaller one is 10 cm tall and 3 cm wide. The other site is of similar size, and also includes two connected statues. All the Buddha faces are unrecognizable, with only the general outlines visible. Judging from the style and features of the statues, they clearly exhibit characteristics of the Northern Wei Dynasty.
