Hospitality scores big points: Five top-notch homestays in Taiwan

Taiwan’s warmth and hospitality often leave a great impression on foreign travelers. Recently, it was even ranked third in the world for hospitality by a well-known online accommodation platform. According to the survey, up to 70% of travelers prefer accommodations where they can interact with the hosts, and the platform used the rating indicator “staff quality” to recommend five of Taiwan’s most hospitable homestays, allowing visitors to experience the deep sense of warmth unique to Taiwan.

The homestay is close to the West Gate of Hengchun Ancient Town, the Chuhuo Special Scenic Area, and just a 15-minute drive from the National Museum of Marine Biology and Aquarium, making it perfect for families and friends traveling together.
 

2.Houshan Chengbao Homestay
Hualien has always been a top choice for travelers seeking relaxation, and “Houshan Chengbao Homestay” in Shunan Village feels like a secluded castle, giving visitors the sensation of arriving in a hidden paradise. Upon entering the room, guests will find a personalized welcome card handwritten by the hosts, and there are also two adorable little goats that are very friendly and great for interaction.

The homestay is located in a tranquil environment, surrounded by vast fields. The yard outside the house has lush green grass, perfect for running around, playing, or having a barbecue together. With no light pollution nearby, guests can also enjoy a stunning starry sky when night falls.
