Sanlitun Bar Street

Sanlitun Bar Street is located west of Changhong Bridge on the West Third Ring Road in Beijing, and is known to almost all foreigners visiting the city.

The northern side of the bar street is the embassy district. Due to its fame, some foreign embassies have even changed their address numbers from “Sanlitun Road” to “Sanlitun Bar Street.” The bar street is open from the afternoon until the early hours of the next morning.

Every day, many foreigners drive or take taxis here, especially in the evening when they come in groups. Not only do foreigners enjoy coming here, but many Chinese also invite clients or friends to meet up in this vibrant social hub.
