Just past the Bezeklik Thousand Buddha Caves, a short distance to the southeast lies Xizhou Tiansheng Garden, designed and built by young artist Zhang Wenge. In 1991

the garden opened to the public as Phase I of the "Turpan Silk Road Art Museum," featuring architectural elements depicting stories from *Journey to the West*, with a construction area of approximately 3,000 square

meters. Beyond Xizhou Tiansheng Garden, continuing southeast and entering National Highway 312, heading east for a short distance will take you to the Subeshi Ancient Tombs, Liusha River, and Lianmuqin Stone Carvings within the territory of Shanshan County; heading west for a short distance will bring you to the Shengjinkou Thousand Buddha Caves.
