The Karez Well Amusement Park is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

The Turpan Karez Well Amusement Park is located within the Turpan City of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, about 2 kilometers south of National Highway 312. It is a designated tourist facility offering comprehensive services including dining, accommodation, sightseeing, entertainment, and shopping for both domestic and international visitors.

The water in karez wells is unpolluted natural water formed from melted snow from the Tianshan Mountains that seeps underground, rich in minerals. Regular consumption is believed to contribute to beauty and longevity. The karez wells are dug underground, which helps prevent evaporation and ensures a continuous flow of water all year round. The water is crystal clear and sweet to the taste. In Xinjiang, karez wells are mainly distributed in the Turpan Basin, Hami, and the Mulei region, with the Turpan area having the highest concentration—over a thousand wells. If connected, they would stretch for 5,000 kilometers, leading some to call them an "underground canal."

The Turpan Karez Well Park officially opened to domestic and international tourists on May 16, 1993. Covering an area of 7 mu, the park features murmuring streams, towering trees, and enchanting scenery. It offers a delightful escape with its long grape corridors, lush lawns as flat as carpets, a uniquely styled Karez Well Research Center exhibition hall, ethnic-flavored restaurants, and guest rooms—making it a serene paradise on earth.
