Yinchuan Martyrs' Cemetery

Yinchuan Martyrs' Cemetery is a classic red tourism destination, as well as a patriotic education base and national defense education base.

Yinchuan Martyrs' Cemetery is located on Xingshui Road, Xingqing District, Yinchuan City. Established in 1964, the cemetery covers an area of 25,000 square meters and includes a Revolutionary Martyrs Monument, memorial square, memorial hall, martyrs' tomb area, sculptures, and more. It is the final resting place of over 100 martyrs, including the “Three Martyrs of Ningxia” (Cui Jingyue, Meng Changyou, and Ma Wenliang) who died during the revolutionary period, Gu Jinhai—who was awarded the title of “Combat Hero” by the Central Military Commission—first-class merit soldiers Li Fulin, Zhang Jianjun, Li Haibin, and Sun Hu who died heroically in the “4·20” incident in Yinchuan, and Wang Tao, the heroic youth who sacrificed his life to save others. The cemetery serves as a Patriotic Education Base of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, a National Defense Education Base of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, a Party History Education Base of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, and a Provincial-Level Martyrs’ Memorial Facilities Protection Unit of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region.
