Luojiayuan

Introduction Located at the mouth of Wangquan Gully at the foot of the Helan Mountains, east of Wangjia Village in Yanzidun, Huinong District, over 3,000 meters above sea level, Luojiayuan is an oasis at the base of the Helan Mountains. With its beautiful scenery, babbling springs, cool climate, the convergence of mountains and water, its unique oasis, and the spectacular steep valleys and peaks carved by nature, Luojiayuan forms a beautiful scenic area at the foot of the Helan Mountains.

Covering a total area of over 30,000 square meters, the park is breezy, cool, fresh, tranquil, and pleasant. Towering ancient trees dot the landscape, with century-old mulberry, walnut, apricot, and jujube trees adding an old-world charm to Luojiayuan.

To its south lies the vast plain of the Yellow River, where ancient cultural elements from the Western Xia and Ming dynasties can be seen along the naturally formed paths. The winding remnants of the Ming Great Wall are faintly visible along the mountains. The massive beacon towers stand firmly on the ruins of the wall. Though weathered by wind and sun through the ages, the imprints of great history still move every passerby. Especially striking are the Western Xia noble tombs scattered across the open land west of the Ming Great Wall, which further stir endless imaginations about the Western Xia Kingdom.
